What is the use of CMC mobile app?

Christian Medical College and hospital has recently launched their android app for CMC Patients Portal. Now, with CMC mobile app you can avail the following services:

1. Book an appointment to any clinic.
2. Pay for and confirm an appointment.
3. Pay for Lab orders.
4. Make a payment for pharmacy and IP bills.
5. View status of existing appointments.
6. Check the payments you made.

How to use the CMC Vellore mobile app?

You need to register your mobile number and email ID to use the app.

CMC Guide App  

Registration process:

At first, you need to download the app from Google Play Store. Next, open the app and click on NEW USER. In short, for first time user, you have to get yourself registered. It is one-time registration process for using the CMC Vellore mobile app.

Now, follow the steps below one by one.

1. Enter a valid Indian mobile number, email id.
2. In addition, you also need to enter a PIN NUMBER of your choice ( a 4-digit number).
3. Thereafter when you click GET OTP, you will receive an OTP on the specified mobile number.
4. Next, enter the received OTP in the box provided.
5. Finally, click on REGISTER.

What to do after registration to CMC app?

You can now use this mobile number and pin number to login to the CMC app. But, it is not possible to use the App without a PATIENT ID. You can create a PATIENT ID using the CMC Patient Portal.

What does the CMC Mobile App do?

You can login to CMC Vellore mobile app with a PATIENT ID / HOSPITAL NUMBER. Besides, you also need the PATIENT’S YEAR OF BIRTH as a password. CMC mobile app allows you to:

• Book a review appointment.
• You can also book an appointment to any other clinic.
• Pay for an appointment, Lab orders and pharmacy bills.
• View the status of payments and existing appointments.

Extra features of the CMC mobile app.

Most importantly, CMC Vellore App sends notifications:

When you book an appointment or pay any bill, you will get notifications on the registered email id and mobile number. Besides, the CMC mobile app displays the mobile number partially in the header.

The application also allows you to change your registered email id/mobile number. Therefore, you may do so on the MY PROFILE page on the CMC Patient Portal app. This can be modified only 3 times annually.

Above all, if you need the receipt, you may print or email it to the patient’s registered email id.

However, if you are unable to get an appointment on the CMC Patient Portal app or website, you may try at the counter.

Payment Cancellation some facts to know

Appointments:

If the payment of an appointment is not completed within 20 minutes, the appointment stands canceled automatically.

Bills:

If you initiate a payment for bills but do not complete the same, it is considered a pending payment. You may cancel this payment by using the CANCEL button provided in the view.

Moreover, if the payment of a bill is not completed within 20 minutes, the payment stands canceled automatically.

How can you claim a Refunds, if required

If for any reason, the booking/payment fails, but money is deducted, you can try to re-login the CMC mobile app and try to complete the transaction. If this fails the second time, it will automatically be refunded to your account.

The view of your transactions on the CMC Vellore mobile app will give you the status of refunds.
